System Overview
Standard grid-tied systems are lower priced compared to the SkyElectric hybrid systems as it comes without Lithium-ion battery storage packs. In case of storage requirements, the additional inverter is required for the batteries. During outages hours, grid-tied solutions do not provide power and would require a generator or any other source of backup power. Grid-tied systems are capable of net metering and excess solar can be sold back to the grid.
